Record Sound:
ProView allows you to record SND resource sounds directly from the Add Sound dialog.
Simply click on the Record Sound button to record a new sound. 

You must of course, have a sound input device connected to your computer.  

You will first be presented with a dialog which allows you to compress the sound. 
Your options are: 
				• None  - No compression. 
                    Larger file size, best quality.
				• 3:1    - Three times compression.  
                   Smaller file size, less quality.
				• 6:1    - Six times compression.  
                   Smallest file size, least quality.
You may have to do some tests to see which compression size is best for you.

You will then be presented with the standard record dialog.  Here you may record, playback and re-record your sound.  When you are satisfied with the sound, press save.
Name the sound and save it.  It will be automatically added to your project. 

NOTE: Since the sound was saved as a separate file, it may be used in this, or any other project, without re-recording.
